Description
From my series 'Man in the Water'I have had so much fun photographing this series that has in a way been my artistic documentation of the flooding of the Great Lakes. This particular image was shot in a park with many old growth trees, it rests along the banks of a river near its outflow to Lake Ontario. The flooding had caused the park to become one with the river and it was difficult to see where the park ended and the river began. I stopped by this park in the late evening to see fog rolling in from the lake, I got excited and knew I had to come back shortly to photograph the area. It had already been a long day and I decided to go home first to eat dinner, when I came back the fog had receded a fair bit but there was still enough to get a few shots off before it disappeared completely into the night.
Lake Ontario, Ontario, Canada.

Beautiful exposure. The sunset and seemingly random placement of features makes it feel like an illustration of 80's retro surrealism.

Thank you very much! This wasn't actually sunset, it was taken in the middle of the night, it was foggy and the orb that looks like the sun was actually the red light on top of a lighthouse.
