Description
The Oakville Lifecare Centre was a hospital for most of its life before turning into a nursing home. In 2002 during the SARS outbreak it yet again became a fully functional hospital to help with the outbreak and the seniors were moved out of the facility. The government had considered using it as a quarantine location for the victims of the outbreak but this never happened. The hospital was later demolished 2012, shortly after this photo was taken.This is an appropriate time to be posting this location considering the current predicament where we find ourselves.
