In 1936 a small building was built by people from a nearby parish, it was furnished and finished using found, borrowed and second hand materials.  Being built in a relatively undeveloped countryside at the time, the small building was heated using a wood burning stove and water had to be carried into the building from a nearby well.

By the 1950s the congregation was continuing to grow and needed a larger space, in late 1953 the current building was opened.  It was originally supposed to be a parish hall that would also be used for such things as community sports, social gatherings, as well as education with the church to be built later.

The church would later close and be disestablished in 2012 just short of its 60th year in continuous operation.

The building was briefly used by another congregation before closing permanently.

Today there is a proposal for a 9 storey condo to be built in its place, that has yet to see any meaningful progress.
