This custom built in 1978 ranch-style home with finished basement, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms has been sitting abandoned for at least 12 years! It was first discovered a few years ago by a friend of mine named Andrew, he was nice enough to share the location with me and I have been a few times since then.

It's a really strange home there are boxes upon boxes of unopened products such as candles and decorative plate holders along with a ton of wicker furniture still wrapped in its original packaging! I figure the last tenants to live here either were operating a business out of the home or maybe they just used it as storage. There are a lot of unanswered questions with regards to what happened here and why all these unsold products were left behind to rot!

Since the home has been sitting for so long unmaintained, the roof has begun to fall apart, there are large holes going right through into the home. Open to the elements the mold has begun to take hold and all of the stored product has gone to waste!

Judging by other homes that have sold recently in the area, I have estimated the property's value to be about $5,500,000. It sits on about 10 acres of land and has a barn as well as another outbuilding, an inground swimming pool as well as a tennis court! When it is eventually sold the house will surely be demolished and higher density housing will likely be built in its place!

What do you think happened here, why would the owners leave this home and all that furniture for so many years!?
