Description
This is the first full-body "somewhat humany" -thingy I've drawn for like four years.I used the posable 3d-models of MS5 to get some little things right (like hands which didn't end too well though) but mostly I didn't use references. Therefore I'm not quite sure about the anatomy.
I love to colour manes & tails
I think I'll draw at least few more anthros now that I got into it. If you have problem with it... well... it's your problem, actually
If you want a backgroundless/poleless/whateverless version, ask and you shall receive.

I'm throwing money at the screen, but she's not giving me a lap dance yet! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/o/o… " width="15" height="15" alt="

I think you pulled things off really well considering you said you didn't have very much for a reference, and this being a kind of first for you in this kind of anatomy aspect, at least for a while e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="

Because there's lots of ponies in bathing suits already, silly!
Looking over your later anthro works, including Applejack, Raritits and Pinkie gaining some pageviews, it's more than apparent that your anatomy works have steadily improved e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="

Overall, a really good job for brushing up on a style! I'm looking forward to your future works e.deviantart.net/emoticons/m/m… " width="15" height="15" alt="

WELL... I haven't cared about the number of my watchers for a long time so I don't mind if every now and then someone decides to leave (cuz others pour in anyway).
And... if I sicken you, I especially don't care if YOU unwatch me.
Bai, hope you enjoyed your stay.
Outta curiosity though... So do you unwatch me because your inbox is filled with r34 OR because I draw r34 in general? I've been considering turning DA only for my clean pieces.

Let's go through the few programs I've used so far...
Manga studio 5 is very good piece of software and I do recommend getting it. It's a bit slow to learn but once you get over it, it has a ton of excellent features not found in other programs and definitely has the best tools for lineart. I can't live without its features anymore and therefore I don't think I'm gonna change to other programs anytime soon.
If you don't need the newest possible equipment, SAI is an excellent option too. I changed from SAI to MS5 only because SAI allows me to allocate only 3GB of RAM to it while MS5 has no limit (and when working with hi-res pics with dozens of layers, 3GB goes out pretty fast). Overall while SAI lacks many tools and new features, it's usually very smooth and simple to use and much easier than other programs.
Photoshop CS6 is the third one I've used. It is probably the best tool for PAINTING of all these and has almost any tools one could hope for. However, it lacks stroke and pressure stabilizers, which are VERY important for me and that's why I don't use it more. PS also doesn't have as good vector lineart tools as other programs but has amazing filters and effects to use when working on the final detail/tone correcting. PS CS2 is free nowadays, so you won't lose anything if you want to test it.
Then there are of course all the other softwares like Corel Painter (which some famous pony artist use), Artrage and a million others. I've only tried the two mentioned and they felt quite good tools too (artrage limited to painting only though). I think you can find artrage 4 demo on steam store for free but I'm not sure.
In brief:
For digital DRAWING, I recommend SAI or MS5
For digital PAINTING, I recommend PS CS5-6 or Artrage 4
I'm not sure what Corel is good for exactly because I've only tried it a bit (it seemed good though)
