well I have found that digital gives me greater flexibility than oil and also I find that canvas paintings take me so much longer because of these constraints of the medium. My images made digitally are still finding their own style and hopefully will evolve beyond the slightly plastic looking alternative to a real canvas painting they are now.

...well it was originally a pencil sketch that i scanned. Then the colour, textures and background were added in photoshop.
