Description
Another digital painting created from scratch in Photoshop CS5. As usual I used the vanishing point tool to set up my perspective and used the lasso tools to get the crisp edges. About 4 days work in total. The original image is about 9 or 10 thousands pixels wide. The image was created for Opposable Games, based in Bristol, Uk. This image is not available to buy as it's copyrighted by the client.

Uh dizzy perspectiv! Reall cool issue!
Can I give a critic? The perspectiv is in 3D, but the pistol on the desk looks more like 2D. Do you know, what I mean? I mean it is a detail, but maybe, you should used more shadow for the pistol. Okay it is really difficult to discribe something like that in English. I mean, that the light of the screen in front of the pistol, should make a definite shadow, more like the cup of coffee or the cassette.
But I am flabbergasted every times, how you get so much details, so exactly!
Respect.

The gun wont have much shadow at all - it is already in shadow as the light from the screens isnt that strong and fades away as it reaches the gun. Thats why I only put a tiny shadow there. If I moved the drink towards the woman it would have no shadow either. Computer screens produce a lot of colored light which doesn't reach as far as white light.
