As you may have heard over the interwebs or in my journal ~
Scott Clark...R.I.P.This is just a repost of my FB status...my emotions are still the same.... "I'd just heard the news from Dave Beaty about the sad news of the passing of Scott Clark.... I really don't have the words in me right now to express what's going on. I didn't know Scott for all that long, but he was always a great guy down to earth and more than generous with his time and talent... you meet people you idolize and some treat you right and some don't Scott was one of the most right guys I've ever met ... I'm just blown away... My condolences to his son and his family..." He will live on in his art and his amazing influence on the people he'd come into contact with and his influence on me in particular.... I'll miss you Scott :iconscottjc:

Scott Clark has passed away. And in a moment of remembrance and quite truthfully tired sadness, I wanted to do something quick to show some support.
I'd wanted to ink a full piece but that wouldn't have been possible (at least to give it the justice it deserved) So I had this and decided to ink it in. In my haste and my state upon finishing I'd forgotten to post it.
This is one of Scott's early designs for Guardian from his run on Alpha Flight. It's on of my favorite designs of the character. (His final version w/out the hair)
