Iray test number 2.ΒThis rendered in about a half hour, which is great. It's less noisy than the first one, but I'm still "meh" about the whole thing. One thing I'm not sure of is why the floor has intermittent texture aberrations.Β

Jesus teach me your mad optimization wizardry. Half an hour sounds a lot better than seventeen. No I'm not exaggerating that looks like an accurate estimate at time of posting D:

The trick is I have a i7-4770 CPU and a GTX 760.

Yeah, i7-6700 CPU and GTX 965M. You'd think higher numbers would mean better performance, so I'm 90% sure you toggled some settings, as opposed to letting it run with the default settings. Ah well, all part of the learning curve!

Well of course I toggled, but I'm not sure why a render would take seventeen hours with those specs. Check and see in the render settings if you're using GPU and CPU together or separate.
