If you texture this it would be great still image! Definitely go for it and finish this.
I imagined some dark planet with heavy orange-grey clouds and rocks around ground, colonized by robots, where all the humanity was killed.

I like the smooth feel of the model. I would go back and chamfer some the edges, though. You would be amazed how much of a difference such a small thing like that can make.
