psych... a picture before I leave.I was way frustrated from packing all day. Like, you have no idea how frustrated. I hate pre-tripness. The whole "Do I have everything? Is everything packed correctly? What happens if this happens?" kind of thing... so I decided to draw frustration. Gummer frustration. Because I love Tremors THAT much.
Burt and Tyler are on top of Changs keeping a lookout for Assblasters which are apparently attacking again.

I hear ya on that one. Granted, I posted some fanfic of my own, it was from...oh, let me see, 2002 or so? My writing was terrible. 
I really wish the show had gone a full season, but so many things happened that just set the stage for the series that it's quite sad they never made it to the full 26 episode season.

how engrossed are you in the fandom? Do you know why they didn't? Was it jsut a numbers game?

At the time when the series aired, I was pretty into it. The ratings were low, and the reason the series was dropped is because the desired rating was missed by only the skin of its teeth. Unfortunatley, SciFi had hoped to garner more fans by putting Tremors into the Farscape slot after Farscape was canceled. It backfired, and the Farscape fans accused Tremors for being the reason Farscape was cancelend, when it really wasn't. The boards got very ugly for a while then that war was being fought...
Basically a huge slot of SciFi's viewers turned off SciFi when the Tremors slot ran, severely hurting the show.
And then there's the fiasco of SciFi running the entire 13 episode season out of order...
In the end if was a numbers game, as you said. It's really unfortunate, because Stampede (the production company under Universal) had a lot planned but had their Tremors funding withdrawn when things didn't pan out.

That almost makes me sick... I hate it when plans don't work out, I feel for the Stampede guys, and I want to know what they had cooking.

The Stampede guys love their fans, and love the Tremors franchise so much. There's no merchandise out there, and they try hard to find ways to get stuff for us, but the only model ever created was pushed back four years in a row and then canceled. There's some data up on the Stampede website concerning Tremors, but nothing about whatever they had planned.
I'm thinking now I should make myself a tremors shirt. Just 'cause.

You won't see any Assblasters unless you watch through to the third one ^^ But the first Tremors movie is the best one, so I highly reccommend it. Its your good old-fashioned horror monster comedy ^^

The 1st Tremors movie made me giggle in pure delight. That movie made me love the Tremors.. Sadly, I don't recall the 2nd or 3rd one at all.. Or even the series D: The 1st movie made me a Tremors fan(I watched it on AMC yesterday and I remember how I fell in love with the Character Val)

Its one of my long-time fandoms... but just recently I've become so enamored with it because my friends are getting into it too. It always makes me happy to share things I love with other people. I hope you like it. If you do, there are three more movies and a tvshow waiting... and Michael Gross is in all of them.

Its a scifi series... thirteen episodes... aired back in 2003 and starred Michael Gross reprising his roll as Burt. Its a good time, see if you can track it down online, they haven't released it on DVD yet much to my sorrow

I wanted to show my friends the Tremors series JUST to get to the AssBlasters becuase I KNEW They'd love them. I didn't tell them about them... just waited. And the first time one took off, my friend Alana was so delighted she squealed and nearly fell out of her chair laughing ^^ I considered it a victory
