More of an idealized Auron. I tweaked his outfit a bit so I could show of his abs and get rid of that humongus belt.this is about half pencil drawing half cg. I think the roughness of the lines reflects his personality very well. He's my favorite hot old guy. Any Questions?

well i think it's cuz the pyreflies that composed him were spending far to long outside the farplane...so time was affecting them...or better yet i think he willed them to age that way people wouldn't be able to tell! like yunalesca, she remained youthful looking and stuff but the man you met leading you to her was all green...i think it's the will of the unsent how they look.

he kinda reminds me of roland from the dark tower series that Stephen King wrote. He was like a gritty oldish gunslinger person and it kinda looks the same. anyways they were good books. sorry for the random comment ^_^;

Okay. Howdy. I am the biggest Auron fangirl in the universe. I am not kidding. He is the sexiest character ever created. AND I tend to be really picky about the way he's drawn; I hate it when people forget things or make mistakes.... But this is frickin' awesome! It's really professional the way you changed things around and still kept his sexy badass character intact!

Mmm, Auron made FFX worth it and hence the lack of him (and the only main chars were 3 barely dressed lesbians...) made X-2 have no appeal to me.

Why thank you ^^ This is one of my favorite pictures. I drew it way back in the height of my FFX fandom and when I colored it, well.... it turned gold ^^ i'm glad other Auron fans like the variations I made too, since that gigantus belt always made him look a little poofy on top.

...I've been through your gallery probably three times, and this is the first time I've seen this.
Do you have any idea how much my friends are going to freak out in drooling hysterics when I show them this? I think Auron is the greatest thing to walk the Final Fantasy field and probably half a dozen other things, but the two I intend to show this off will go full-blown fangirls at this.

And yes, Auron is one of my alltime top favorite FF peeps. Up there with him are Irvine from 8 and Cid from 7. Vincent and Sephiroth are in there too... and Reeve of course... and Zell was along for the ride for a while, but mostly Auron Cid and Irvine.
This is my favorite Auron pic of mine... and after seeing the abomination (okay, I'm overreacting) that is KHII Auron I had to feature it. I mean, fighting with Auron again is really badass... but the way they tweaked his design doesnt sit well with me. I prefer good ol'fashioned FFXAuron. My favorite deadman ever. And I forgive him for being dead... if only because he looked so much at peace when she finally sent him. He was so happy, I couldnt help but be happy for him. He could finally rest. <3
