HOLY SHIT BABYLON 5. B5 IS MY FAVORITE SHOW OF ALL TIME.
To find out that more people like it is a godsend.

Oh, I have no doubt that it will last for a while. Or rather, I pray hard that it will... and if there's one thing that Babylon 5 taught me, it's that Faith Manages.

Also, i have seen your gallery before... It's just that I was away from DA for a year and a half and I didn't know you had gotten into B5 in that time. Going back through your gallery I've found more B5 work, so that made me happy again.
And it all depends on the Centauri in question... Londo, at the end of his life, died knowing that the Keeper that was controlling him (and thus, the Centauri empire) was also dying, leaving Vir to take the throne, and (according to one of the books) was guided to heaven by Adira. Faith managed pretty well for him.

Hmmm... If only there was an artist who could pour those scenes into an image of some kind...
Seriously though, that is why I love B5- it had the ability to tug at my heartstrings like nothing else. Remember the Markab Plague episode? DAMN.

I have cried only a few times because of fiction:
1) This one movie about a man reincarnated as a dog, because FRACK that was sad (the movie, not the premise).
2) This one song from Megaman Battle Network called "Farewell (vocalized)" which is really sad and reminded me of the end of that series
and
3) When B5 is being decommissioned.
Hell, there are so many powerful and great scenes throughout the whole series... I personally consider Londo's speech about humanity from "In The Beginning" to be one of the best speeches in all of science fiction. www.youtube.com/watch?v=DeNBJ5…
Oh, and here's something that should give you cause for happy tears: The novels clarify that after Londo and G'Kar kill each other, Vir orders massive statues constructed in their honor. Facing opposite directions to one another, each standing at the opposite ends of the Capital City of Centauri Prime, standing tall and proud, reminders of two men so very different but who saved the Centauri and the Narn from the worst darkness imaginable.
