I heard they had a h*** of a time finding an actress, who didn't have terrible allergic reactions to the Narn masks. That's why Na'Noth replaced Ko'Dath in the first place and Na'Toth had two actresses. Eventually they had to drop the character.

yeah, a similar thing happened with Delenn. Mira really hated the full face prosthetic from the pilot so they redesigned her in season 1 so she didn't have to wear as much. It really emphasizes my appreciation for Andreas... he wore that makeup all five years and still emoted like mad. He was an inspiration!
