I'm going to have to admit that I'm not as proud of Tali as I was with Wrex, but I think that stems largely from the fact that Wrex and Garrus had all this great texture and depth to their designs that got me excited to jump in and explore. Tali's sort of an enigma considering we never see her out of her suit and don't even really know what color or texture her skin is. Many of you may be disappointed that I didn't take a bigger risk in y design for her. Give me moment to let me explain my rationale.

I took inspiration from the concept work of Tali from ME1, and the general case for female aliens across the Mass Effect board. First we note that Tali has boobs. She is therefore a mammal of some kind... much like the Asari appear to be mammals of some kind. We learn delving around ME2 (and codex diving) that they reproduce and etc the same way humans do. In the concept art they look vaguely human and despite the danger of illness, seem to fit the design for human attractiveness. So what do I figure? They're three-fingered glowy-eyed humans with a faulty immune system. If they ever show us what they look like, I predict that's what it'll be.

I made her skin darker because I Get the feeling through the helmet that it is. There is also a pale version that I uploaded to scraps. [link]

So working from that perspective I bring you Tali. I've got her out of uniform except her breathing aparatus and a pair of jeans. The helmet remains for 2 reasons: 1, if she were actually taking pictures she would need the protection and 2, without it I wouldn't be able to achieve a Tali likeness. The helmet IS her face, and this series is not the time or place for me to explore my concepts of helmetless quarians. She's for the fans, she's supposed to be instantly recognizable. It's bad enough I took her cowl off.... I threw it in a bit with the belt though.
