Description
Someone got tired of painting maya textures and wanted to make some real art.I made a portrait of Cat, the lead character from my novel-in-progress. Its an unusual angle and made at a larger size than my usual pictures, but I felt like actually making her an interesting portrait. I'm sorry if the perspective is off, I didn't use any references or anything.
I'd really like to give more of my characters this treatment. Maybe I'll make Chase a portrait next.

This is an AWESOME angle you chose, a very tricky to do, in my stlye anyway. And I love how we see her tangle with the threads...

I like sledgehammering people as much as the next gal, but I do not fully trust that you'll give me that hammer handle first

Actually I would. Just not in the direction or area most people would expect. Blame my mind, it's too creative for it's own good.
Hell, I've turned something into a weapon that REALLY shoudn't be thought of in such a way.

Smudge tool ^^ Really small with the strength up to 80ish raked back and forth like a scribble over a flat patch of color
