I hope so. I heard a good number of fans were not happy with how it ended. Hopefully added content will help ease their frustration.

Well, they're not changing the biggest insult... so it's kind of a bandaid either way. The rest of the game was flippin' fantastic though

I don't really know anything about the ending, as I've never played any of the games, but from what I understand it has something to do with not really having a choice like in past games.

I'll put it in common tongue.
The whole game you've been fighting toward a goal. It's a good goal, it's a simple goal, everything we've done, all the sacrifices weve made, all the facts we know about this lore-heavy future is pointed toward this goal. We've been fighting for 100 hours toward it and here, finally, we are at the final boss.
The final boss shows up and is not actually a boss. It's some kind of god creature that hasn't been mentioned before. The god creature says the goal you've been working for is a fallacy. What you actually need to do is resolve the ending of Battlestar Galactica instead.
But we haven't been playing Battlestar Glactica... we've been playing Mass Effect, and all the parts of Mass Effect we liked - the characters, the plot devices, the lore - those don't exist in Battlestar Galactica. Shepard does not question this... the main character we control who speaks for our opinions in all things Mass Effect just rolls over and lets Battlestar Galactica happen without even wondering why. The only way to resolve Battlestar Galactica is to pick one of three choices. All three choices result in the same thing - because Battlestar Galactica is pre-scripted to end the way it is going to end without any user input at all.
And then the game ends without ever returning to Mass Effect. And the fanbase was upset.

...That sounds sort of stupid. Though I think there are very few games that can get away with having any sort of god creature.

I love their reactions! Much more tame than my own....also, I never thought I'd see a more adorable Krogan. Can I keep him?
