I like how how the whole piece has a really light and happy feel. At first glance, I see her (in this, henceforth comments of San is referred to this) mature, but also somewhat childish at the same time. Especially from the soft face. I think it's the hanfu with the big oversized sleeves that made her look otherwise taller and thinner than she would, though I can definitely see the shortness as I've described before. In real life, such clothing would make a short person short-ER, but this isn't as obvious.
Overall, I'm really happy and delighted for the picture, as I see this as a very refreshing and happier look than what I would have pictured her (yes, in my mind she's looks sombre and serious for her age. Like Tomoe from the Rurouni Kenshin manga. Only more expressive). Actually, if I think about it, San in here would definitely fit in with how the San I imagined would look if she were at peace and is moderately happy.
Note: Hanfu colors are great. I knew from looking at the title of the picture that it must be my honorable mention prize ^_^ XP Tho' at first I didn't really recognize her because she looks different from the invalid, delusional version way back when (notably, the hair), but I couldn't help but smile in pleasure.
I thank you very, very much for this, as this really tops my day off with something cheerful to look at. I kowtow in front of you.
Note 2: It would be kind of funny if she's drawn to scale, like compared to the height of the rest of the Final Fantasy X cast, like Auron, she'd be barely reaching his shoulders. Just to accentuate how she really looks like when not lying down or by herself in a portrait.

Nice lines! Maybe I should try doing some linework in Canvas; Photoshop makes everything squiggly and icky.
