I know this shot is a couple of years ago but it's the first time I've been fortunate enough to see it with my own two tired old eyes. This is image of yours is quite simply glorious. Not only is visually beautiful, more than that it touches my spirit and causes it to dance or sing or whatever it is my spirit actually does when it's moved. I love it when a shot does that.....yours does. Thank you so much for sharing it!

This image reminded me of the following passage from William Wordsworth's 1969 poem "The Ruined Cottage".
"I well remember that those very plumes, those weeds, and the high spear-grass on that wall, by mist and silent raindrops silvered o'er, as I once passed, did to my mind convey so still an image of tranquility, so calm and still, and looked so beautiful amid the uneasy thoughts which filled my mind, that what we feel of sorrow and despair from ruin and from change, and all the grief the passing shews of being leave behind, appeared an idle dream that could not live where meditation was. I turned away, and walked along my road in happiness."

Beauitful HDR . Most HDRs I've seen are totally over-the top horrid things, but this one is perfectly ballanced! I love it

It is simply the total dynamic range of any subject being shown. It leaves very little room for flaws in a photo, and is a true representation of the subject. I don't understand how you think it looks fake. Maybe it is that our brains aren't used to seeing photo's like this, but there is definitely a future for HDR photograhpy.

I see your point, but for me
A photo is supposed to be realistic, there will be flaws, thats the point
To me HDR makes it look digital, i do like it, (love it) but seems more like a pianting than an actual photo, (which isnt really the purpose of a photo for me, dont take this the wrong way)
