The strut, the lighting, the composition, the jangling of the keys in motion blur, the spark on the axe as he passes the bars, the impeccable rendering of the armour, right down to the tiny details like the water droplets splashing up by his boot as it pounds the puddle on his way to a date with death and the cowering prisoners. He isn't just a character in a backdrop; he commands the entire composition.
