Description
Inspired by some of the work in Brom's first book Darkwerks. I read in there that he used acrylics to lay down his base colours and then did the finishing/blending in oils, so that's what I tried here.Acrylic and Oil on illustration board.

I like the tentacle backpack thing but I was wondering about something else?
How do you fight with that kind of weapon?
I imagine you would do a lot of poking and some ripping and spiked punching
but it seems it seems more ceremonial that practical.
well actually now that i think about it is good for all ranges

You have duplicated the style well. I, too am a huge Brom fan so this one definitely appeals to me. This is one of my favorite Cthulu pieces for sure. It looks great!

This is amazing. Brom's influence really shines through here, especially on the armor plating. The weapon (I don't exactly want to call it a sword) is absolutely wicked. Great work.
