Amazing. This is just the kind of drawing I would like to be able to draw. It's evil and cute at the same time. I love the shading, contrast and composition. And not in the very least the amazing detail.

Man, I googled "goblin" some time ago, like, three-five years ago, and I saw this picture come up. I was freaking amazed. Just the artwork stunned me, and after staring at it, completely transfixed, for something like three hours, I fell in love with it. Unfortunately, my computer crashed and erased all of the favorites I had. You have no idea how much joy it brings me to see this again.

...could you be so kind as to enlighten as to what exactly bristol board is please. Im dying to find a paper or something to paint on in water colour that wont curl when wet, without having to go through the tedious task of stretching it before hand. 'Bristol board' has me intrigued. Maybe no such thing exsists and im just a lazy twat.
P.S. oh yeh, like your work, particuly the oils.

Bristol Board will still curl when wet. I suggest you try Daler Rowney Water Colour Board. It's quite thick and comes in different surface types.

Nice one, I presume a smooth surface for use with nibs of dipping ink pens exsists. Will be looking for water colour board. I thought that something must exist, otherwise how would you paint watercolour outdoors, where it would be awkward to stretch paper. Any way, thankyou for your help, i no your not an art materials FAQ. Cheers.

Checked out the site. Thanks. Not the cheapest material out there is it, especialy if you go wrong, and have to start again, which is often the case due to the energetic high risk way i work. Perhaps i would be better of stretching quality cartridge paper, hmm. Which is going to be awkward in my tiny flat. Is it possible to stretch paper without soaking the whole peice in a sink, as i have'nt got an A1 size sink, could i just drench it with a sponge then tape it down. Sorry, im just thinking out loud, im not hinting for a paper stretching tutorial. You have been very helpfull, thanks, its much apreciated.
