An Amtrak Light power Move consist of B32 504, 517, 519, & NPCU(ex-F40PH) 90221 movesΒ past 18th St only to reverse into the engine shops, & cut off 519 & 90221 right next to Amtrak P42 37.

Are they shunting engines or they're used in passenger traffic, too?

They should mostly be used for switching. I don't care if they're more flexible, but a road switcher should not be working long-distance passenger trains! Sorry, that's a rant for another day.

Both! mostly yard shunting, but used on passenger trains when needed.

I think they are used in passenger traffic when required but these days are mostly used for shunting.
