From Left to Right:
Amtk 24(P42), Amtk 406(Phase 3 NPCU with HEP), Amtk 90368(Phase 3 NPCU), Amtk 822(Phase 3 P42), & P42 169 resting outside of the engine shops near 18th St. just south of Downtown Chicago.
Notice I called 406 an NPCU with HEP, in my view it is not an F40PH unless it has an engine in it.

I often dreamed that they put new motors in those NPCUs so that they can run on their own power again. That's what Via did with their EMD F40PHs.
