Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - Series II
SEASON 1, EPISODE 9: "Impossible Technology"

This is the sequel to "Star Trek: DS9" set in the year 2497 on the new space station Deep Space Nine with a new crew.

This Deep Space Nine and some of the main characters have already been introduced in the episode "Starlight" from "Star Trek: Stories Across Time And Space".

On this picture are Lieutenant Allan Tobin (Lew Temple) and Ensign Hidarr Drejed (Brent Antonello).

A Short Description Of The Story:
A mysterious technology appears on DS9, compromising the space station's systems. The worst part is that the device cannot be removed because it has a self-destruct security system that would damage a lot of the station... and it can cloak and relocate itself. Lieutenant Allan Tobin and Cardassian engineer Ensign Hidarr Drejed are looking for a way to remove the alien technology. Hidarr eventually figures out how to trick the device's security system for a little while. As a result, they manage to beam the device off the station and it explodes just after transport. When it's over, Lieutenant Tobin comes to the Captain with a serious discovery - the device contains both Indren and Grigari technology. The alliance between these two races is about to become more dangerous than ever...
