Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - Series II
SEASON 2, EPISODE 6: "Our Past Mistakes"

This is the sequel to "Star Trek: DS9" set in the year 2497 on the new space station Deep Space Nine with a new crew.

This Deep Space Nine and some of the main characters have already been introduced in the episode "Starlight" from "Star Trek: Stories Across Time And Space".

A Short Description Of The Story:
Captain Miller is found in his quarters in a coma. Doctor Arrington finds no reason why he shouldn't be conscious. In fact, all the medical equipment indicates he's wide awake.
Meanwhile, Captain Miller wakes up in his older uniform with the rank of Commander on the USS Dallas, where he served as First Officer before being promoted and transferred to DS9. He discovers that he is in the time when the USS Dallas is about to be destroyed, when he misjudged the situation, resulting in the destruction of the ship and the death of fifteen people. Somehow everything was covered up at the time. The truth was lost, and the investigation was closed with the conclusion that the tragedy could not have been prevented. But Miller knew the truth. It troubled him and he wanted to take responsibility for his actions. But he was under orders to keep quiet about it. But now he has the chance to change everything. All the while, he encounters a mysterious officer he doesn't remember. When he confronts him, the mystery man confesses that he was the one who got him here. It's Q (Silas Weir Mitchell), who didn't want to give him a chance to correct his mistake, but to remind him of this day so he can do what's right - confess.
This is the first version of the story... it will be reworked over time.
