The NPCs in A Link Between Worlds perfectly sum up why I love this series so much. You have games that include things like demonic possession, the apocalypse, wars that completely shape several realms of existence, and kingdoms crumbling into ruin...but then you also have some dude who spends his time sitting around in a bee costume making bee puns. Because The Legend of Zelda is a series where guys are obsessed with windmills, the two DS games have an eye squid and a leprechaun for their main bad guys, and beavers are sentient and possibly also robots.
But man, these sketches are super charming. I really love the variance in body shapes. And I love that someone out there actually drew Bee Guy and Bomb Shop Man because those two were the absolute best.

I really love Thief Girl. I wish that she would have been around a little longer. I know the Zelda series is known for having really colorful side characters with little relevance. Definitely helps the games have a lot of charm.
Also, Bee Guy is basically Mario and that's pretty snazzy.

The bee guy was an odd situation. NOt that I thought he was strange, but I remember finding that special bee he wanted- I bought it in Lorule for a somewhat lucrative sum. And for what- a bee badge- at first I was thinking "...okay..." but soon enough, I liked the idea of bees harassing the enemies when things start to look bad..
