Let this be a lesson kids. When you spend too much time slacking off on Important Matters, Uncle Ezlo will make sure you regret it.

Anyhow, I probably hadn't mentioned this yet but, if I had to choose one Zelda game that tugs at my Heartstrings the most, it'd probably have to be it's final GBA outing, The Minish Cap.
Even though I started with Ocarina of Time, played a little of the NES original, and had once owned Wind Waker for a long while, Minish Cap for me has a charm to it that other games in the franchise can hardly match. I can't explain why exactly, maybe it was the usage of the Toon-Style I adored since Wind Waker, maybe it was the few cameos it had from several previous Zelda games, maybe . . . it was for how it made up the fact that it's GBA predecessor, Four Swords, couldn't be played by a single player? ="D
Well, maybe I just provided a strong indicator why I like this game so much. Yes, I did own the previous GBA Zelda game, A Link to the Past "With Four Swords", infact I'm pretty sure that was the first Zelda game I ever "owned". For awhile I was into that game, granted I was pretty young and clueless at the time so I could only make it about as far as the Eastern Dungeon with the 1st of 3 pendants. I always wanted to play Four Swords on it but, yeah Nintendo & Capcom (yes, they developed the game too) made the boneheaded move to only make it a Multi-Player Title. Funny enough, not long ago a 25th Anniversary Edition of the Original Four Swords was released on the eShop and, surprisingly, a Loner such as myself can play it! Whoo! . . . . . but I'm getting ahead of myself. xP
Anyhow, if there's one thing I like about Minish Cap, it's that it felt like a welcome continuation to A Link to the Past's Formula. It keeps a few of the things that made that game so enjoyable, while also making it kinda it's own shtick. You could argue though that for a Zelda game it's a tad on the short side but, I personally don't mind. It wasn't too long but, not too short either, and it has about enough to keep you invested. Though, the ending left a lot to be desired, despite a cute little quirk it made concerning one of Link's more . . . prominent trademarks. xD
Not much else I can say at this point. I love this game and . . . . I'm glad it made the Ambassador Program Nintendo launched late last year.

The 3DS, to me is, one gigantic gimmick. I'm only getting a 3DS to play Luigi's Mansion 2. I played and loved the first so I must play the second. I really wish they would release Luigi's Mansion 2 on a console instead, but whatever.
Admittedly, I was never a fan of any handheld Zelda game. Personally, I prefer to see it on the big screen. I also love the toon look for Link, which is one of the reasons Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game.

oh, me too!!!!!! the whole 3d thing is way too gimmicky and i dont like how they try to use that to get more sales.
however, i did get a 3ds (used and at a huge discount) only because i REALLY wanted star fox and ocarnia of time. also, i havent even done ANYTHING else on it but play zelda....

and nowadays (for some weird reason) i feel almost as though the 3d and and the 2d pretty much look the same....
and the only time i use it is some pretty cutscene from zelda....and i hardly ever use it for star fox....
it makes me kind of happy that i got it discounted (somewhere around $75) because i dont really use EVERYTHING the game has to offer anyway. also, i only use for plaing games and virtual console stuff. i leave everything else alone.

meh, whatever floats your boat. truthfully I'm glad I have my 3DS cuz there's quite a boat-load of material for it, especially on it's eShop channel. also as I got mine on launch, I came to be eligible for 20 free games (10 NES, 10 GBA). ="D

Oh, I have no doubt it's a good console. I just feel the 3D effect is not needed. Still, I'll be waiting patiently for Luigi's Mansion 2. Prices usually drop after the holidays, so I'll get it then.

lol, well I'm mixed on the 3D myself. There are times where I feel it makes the game a whole lot better (ex: Super Mario 3D Land, Mutant Mudds, & Mighty Switch Force), while other times it just ruins it altogether (so far Pilotwings Resort is the worst offender of this . . . and a NINTENDO game at that >8/). Still, I don't think it's a bad gimmick, but thankfully it's not a required one.

Well, as of now Luigi's Mansion 2 is the only one I'm looking forward to, so I'd rather wait until then. I'll have plenty of time and money to spend.

One thing I loved about Ezlo was his nagging. He always bothered you about things you thought at first "could you shut up, already?" But as the game goes on, you come to think of him more than a backseat driver, he really grows on you- my favorite moments being the first time I went to the bakery and exploring the underground crypt. By the time the end came around, I was a bit sad to see him go, but I liked his 'parting gift.'
I gotta get back to MC, someday...

Ezlo is a very funny character aside the fact he constantly nags Link. But why must that 3DS die so young?! XD

Come to think of it, that old Minish cap do have some similarities with Midna, in the sense of both being cursed and insulting to their generation's Link, but warming up and revealing their true selves after some time.
