Whelp, I've done it again. What I did with Ice Climber and Zelda beforehand, I've done with Kid Icarus too ~So have some modified versions of Pit and Dark Pit Pittoo!
Oh and I'm sure you guys are gonna ask me but, yes Palutena is getting the same treatment . . . sooner or later LOL.
EDIT: The Pits have been fully colored!
EDIT 2: Palutena Alights Again!! Finally made a fresh design for Palutena after 7 Months of waiting ~

The style reminds me of a cross between Pop-Eye the Sailorman and Osamu Tezuka; fittingly enough, given your redesign is based off NES Kid Icarus, yes?

I honestly never liked the way Sakurai rebooted the franchise
Uprising was a good game (no where near one of the best)
But still didn't like the designs, personalities, or the new characters
(with maybe a few exceptions, those being magnus, Gaol, and the chariot master)
In my opinion your designs are better but still nothing special, I would have gon for
less of an anime/dramatic look but that's my opinion, I personally miss the
pit who was just a roughly 14 year old, cartoonish, angel with a nameless magic bow

To be fair if I recall, Kid Icarus Uprising was made on an engine for a cancelled Star Fox game, so if it feels a little off; that might explain why. Though personally, I think Kid Icarus Uprising handled the series well. After all, the First Kid Icarus used the same Engine as Metroid, the new one used an engine for a cancelled Star Fox.

I would have perfered if they had uprising use an updated/modified metroid prime hunters engine, it would have made more sense too given that kid icarus and metroid were originally made by the same guy, and intended to be sister series.
It'd be like if the next advanced wars game used the NSMB2 engine as opposed to FE:A

I wouldn't've. I don't think a Kid Icarus FPS would have worked. It would have been way too odd and different. Besides. I'm sick of FPS being in everything. I personally miss the old exploration Metroid games. I can play Super Metroid 1000 times and never get bored, with Metroid Prime, it's okay... but not nearly as fun as that one.

On the contrary I loved how Uprising handled the KI World, especially with the in-game conversations between Pit and Palutena. Magnus was pretty cool though I personally think he needed more time to build his character, like his relationship with Gaol and everything (speaking of Gaol I really don't care for that character aside from the fact she's pretty much a walking Samus reference).
Yeah for my designs I tried to mix in details and all between both Pit's Classic Look (or more specifically his look from the GB game) and his Uprising Look. I'm personally rather proud of the results myself ~

But that's just what Dark Pit is; Dark. Heck, in Japan he's known as Black Pit. It wouldn't make sense if he had other colors like white or pink in his design.Β

well keeping aside the fact there's a reason Black Pit stayed in Japan, I just wanted to make his color schema less monotonous. besides I thought stuff like the White Undertones would be a nice contrast to Vanilla Pit's Dark Undertones.
