A few days ago I found this page sitting in a box. I got the pencil art from a professor I had for an advanced inking class back in 2009, I was going to ink this piece for my final. Well I started inking this in 2009 and probably didn't like the way it turned out. So years later I had printed out the page again and was going to use it as a warm up piece. I never did. I just put it in a box and forgot it was there. UNTIL. I found the page and starting inking it just to see how I improved from 2009. Since I trashed the first go at this piece, I can only remember the way it looked in my head. Trust me I have improved since 09. I remember trying to do some gray wash on the buildings, it didnt turn out the way I wanted. So now I just blacked the buildings and I couldn't be happier with the way this turned out.
