I can see why this image received a DD! There's so much attention to detail, from each leaf and flower petal, to the individual tips of each wing. The scene comes across as solemn, with a contemplative gravity to it. The selective lighting, the focus on the sword, and even the angel's expression hint at an underlying narrative. It really is the rich, ambient lighting and attention to detail that bring this piece to life.

OH MY GOD! THAT SWORD!!!!..... I was just scrolling through and I saw the sword and I thought, "Seriously! That's what catches my eye?!" Cause, by the look of this beauty, plenty of things should have caught my eye. It's GORGEOUS! But I'm such a weirdo. I literally yelled the first sentence. I love this picture. It's just...WOW!
