This is a pretty cool character design! I like it a lot It's a bit reminiscent of The Shadow, but definitely much more badass!

Thanks a lot. I definitely want his design to be reminiscent of some of the older pulp heroes but hopefully he'll have enough of my own spin to keep him original. I'm working with a writer on a story right now.

This guy reminds me of the Shadow crossed with some sort of crime noir. Awesomne!

That's awesome for a quick sketch!
I wanted to tell you that I found the perfect ink pens for watercolor. Faber Castelle Pitt brand pens. They are india ink and are waterproof

Thanks. It was a sketch from my book but I inked it and added a little Photoshop magic.
Also, thank you for the tip about the pens! I looked them up online and I have to try some now. They even have brush tips... they look really cool.

Very cool and you're welcome
And, you are welcome my friend. I know, I have the brush tips and the super fine PITT's. They are amazing buddy, and if you have a local Office Depot closing down, you might find them really cheap. For example, I used them for the M9 contest entry on the background designs over the paint, on the jacket, gloves, boots, and whip...and the new EN comic strip. I certainly am impressed with their quality.

Thanks! They are not nearly as strong as Sharpies or my sketchbook for that matter.
