look at the amazing straight line of its back! smooth take off, looking colorfully effortless; I can see the single-minded focus in its eye, no wavering indecision. Drops scattered here and there, as if water is no obstacle. Very beautiful capture

that's what I can't understand. Your photos rival those of National Geographic! You should be shooting for an Environmental Group or a Nature magazine or something. Your photos are just amazing. Have you advertised yourself? Have you sent CVs and samples?Β

Hundereds of people say this to me but what I struggle with is finding the doors to open. It is impossible to contact these industry giants direct, they make it so difficult and they have thousands of CV and phots sent to them every day. My experience has shown me that it is not what you know but who you know and I don't know anyone ;-(. I have had a bit of a short listing here yourshot.nationalgeographic.co... and me be I might get a small piece of recognition there. I have also won Photo of the week here www.birdguides.com/iris/pictur... this week and a couple of weeks ago www.birdguides.com/iris/pictur... . My name is slowly getting out there. I joined www.500px.com yesterday and have alread 150 followers 500px.com/jamiemacarthur1 . plus another 1600 followers on DA but still I have only sold two phots in 18 months . I just don't seem to be lucky in life despite spending 12 hours a day on my MAC - I just need a lucky break !!!! Still I don't give up trying
