Description
Commission for [link]Back story behind the character
Kira was born to a family of heretics who were tracked down and killed by the Church of Glabados. Since she was just a child, she was turned over to the scholars, who decided to use her for experiments, which caused her to have more bestial traits in combat (as well as slightly pointed ears and fangs). She was rescued, and later adopted by a higher ranked member of the Church, and grew up believing that her childhood nightmare was just a punishment from the 'gods' for her parents being unfaithful.
As an adult, she joined as a squire, wanting to become part of the Templar. She stumbled on a wolf cub, abandoned by his parents, and raised him as her own, as a way of trying to repeat the efforts her parents had done with her. Rama, the wolf, has since become her lifelong companion. She eventually earned a place in the higher elite of the guardians of the Church with Rama at her side. She uses magic as well as combat which the two of them share.
As for personality, Kira tends to be kind of quiet. She usually is only herself when she's just around Rama. She sees him as her brother, and the closest thing she has to someone who understands her.

Beautiful drawing, and I love the details, however the only thing that gets me is the armour, how in the world is it supposed to protect her? Too many open holes for swords and arrows alike to get to. Other than that, it's a wonderful painting.

Thank you glad you liked it and about the armor you are very correct haha. Thats what she wanted me to paint though maybe she has a force field type spell that helps her deflect stuff.
Hope all is well and thanks again for the comment and fav

Nice technique, I like that painting ! The shadow on her face is particulary well done. Although, the wolf is a little blurry.
Great one ! ^^

Wow, your airbrush skills are awesome, I really wish I had a chance to atempt airbrushing becasue it makes pictures look so much better. I love how the wolves eyes look so realistic and the girls skin almost looks like it's popping of the page.

The anatomy is somewhat awkward-looking, but aside from that this is a brilliant image, and the visual design of the character is great; intricate and interesting without straying into the 'final fantasy' aesthetic.

Yeah the anatomy is wonky think I need to start thinking more about the earlier stages of work because sometimes once you render something out at times can be hard to changeΒ
Thanks for the feedbackΒ

No probs, more planning in the early stages really pays off, but it's still something I'm not good at!

Beautiful! Amazing work on the cloths around her waist.
I like her small shield, light armor, and not too-heavy blade. Everything really suits the character perfectly.
I think the blade may have a little more curve to it than the scabbard does.
Looks awesome.

seems like she would be a quick and nimble character especially having to run around in forests
and you are correct on the sheath I didnt even catch that
thanks for the comment hope all is well
