I wanted to try a different approach on coloring from the usual. I also tried with this to get a fantasy setting/mood good enough to fit in a game like Zelda. This was actually a very nice practice because I got to try some new things for once.To think I'd draw a background of all things

I can see a lot of time went into this. ITS SO PREEEEEEEEEEEEETY!!Β Β She does look as if she could just walk-er, swim into the Zelda games. Only thing that would be changed for the game though, is the fact she'd have to wear a cloth to cover them water balloons! Β She looks like she could also star in the Phantasy Star games too.Β Β

I Love the colors and subject matter; mermaids are awesome. It looks like it could fit in zelda but for some reason looks like it could fit into the Pokemon universe too.

She's very smooth and shiny, and the waterfall looks very nice as well. Though I wish the background had some more detail, and the blue blob on her tail section looks sort of out of place. Overall a very nice artwork

The waterfall was originally very detailed, but then while watching a movie where they applied this technique of blurring the background to bring focus to the foreground actor, I thought: Why shouldn't I try this? I do regret making a bit too blurry though
Yes, the blue bob was actually a bubble... though it may not look like that and appear to be very a random. I'll practice to make them bubbles more bubbly!

Thank you. I see that technique often used in movies and anime so I wanted to try it out and see if it puts the total focus on the front rather then the background.
