Metal Blaze... Hands down one of the most terrifying things to ever come from my mind o@;; She's one of the characters I roleplay as at SegaStH .
Design-wise she's a meshing of concepts by me, *CatbeeCache and ~Stoney107 and overall I tried to make her look like something Sonic Team themselves might have actually designed - something that actually looked like it could appear in a game.
Personality-wise she utterly terrifies me o@ Just... picture the most bubbly, obnoxious, over-the-top valleygirl you can possibly imagine. ... Yeah. She's worse. Though it's largely an act. Though she really is pretty ditzy, she's also extremely calculating and purposely exaggerates her behavior just so people won't take her seriously, and therefor underestimate her (hello, false sense of security). One moment she'll be prancing around and trying to cuddle you, and the next she'll be setting you on fire because you let your guard down.

It is in my eyes that this fandom character may be a Mary Sue. Perhaps he could give consideration to a redesign?

It's meant to be an analogous character to Metal Sonic for the dimension that Blaze is from, so the design concepts make a degree of sense to me.
Also for giggles I'm going through that test for the character just to see what's coming up, and not much has of yet, so I'm curious to what in particular strikes me as a sue? I'm curious to your thoughts.

whoa, apparently we think on similar wave lengths, my metal blaze design also has a flamethrower tail. Nice work on this BTW, looks like an official sonic design

I really like the way you colored the metallic parts of her body.. which would probably be most of her body.

i know this was done digitally, so you can easily make the lines as perfect as you like, but i think they're a little TOO nice, personally. you might try breaking up the lines in shinier spots with some morse code--dots and dashes, and overall just breaking up the lines every once in a while with well-placed small gaps.
besides that i like this very much, especially the coloring, which looks like refined, professional colored pencil work. very nice.

I did consider coloring the lines instead of leaving them black. The only reason I didn't was that I don't generally do that with my ref art and wanted to keep the theme. I might go back later and change them all though...
