Metal Sonic, you're my favorite character, I love you, but coloring you is FREAKING EVIL.
EVIL I SAY *pulls out hair whilst shrieking for awhile*
*ahem* Done for the 20'th Anniversary contest at sonic-club . We were instructed to choose our favorite scene, from any fandom, in the last 20 years. Choosing mine was... extremely difficult, as there are many of what I would consider 'favorite' moments. In the end I decided to settle on the fight between Sonic and Metal in the OVA because... let's face it... seeing Metal Sonic, my favorite character, ANIMATED... just doesn't happen everyday.
Coloring this made me weep. But I'm pleased with the outcome

This is by far one of the better sonic pictures out there.
You have captured a well know picture with adding a style that is unique, without completely changing the formula, something only the best artiest are able to do.
However I could not shake the feeling the lower right background was some what too dark. You had the rest of the picture in such bright colors, then make the lower right section dark.
The clouds, icicles and snow look amazing.
As for the Metal Sonic and Sonic, what can I say besides spot on.
Form the expressions to color it is all astounding.
Its a anniversary so I will let originality sleigh.
Overall this is a great picture, and a even greater way to say happy birth day to the blue blur who made are childhood.

This is just totally beyond cool and awesome! I really love the whole picture of this, with the poses, background, shadings and highlights, the professionalism and the seriousness in this!

I never knew what the Sonic OVA a was when i first saw this. I was wondering where this was from! Though I conveniently saw that movie the same day, and thought ohhhh... And now I have my second favorite sonic - villain, metal, first being silver sonic Mk.3! (Shadows... neutral)

Ahh Nostalgia i remember my parents buying this for me on VHS one Christmas ...(hehe remember that ) the animation was FANTASTIC to my teenage eyes and even if the dialogue was sorta cliche I though it was the best darn movie in existence (and better yet it was anime XDD)
