An image I did before all my hard drive troubles started...

This is a nice view any man would like after a hot date, would you not agree??

...wolfie

Credits
Mala by Godin (though I didn't do her too much justice, the render's too far anyways, she's a Renderosity Prime and well worth it, but the surface needs some attention in DS)
[link]
Sexy Top III [link] Don't really like what DS4's AutoFit did to it though.
Tights came from the Aven bundle [link]
Freebie Sensible shoes originally by Headkase, redone for Genesis here [link]
Modern Home [link] though I really don't recommend close up renders, it's made for distance renders and is low quality. I used one of Stonemason's concrete textures on the walk/step.
Realistic Grass [link] Pretty high poly, couldn't use the whole ground without crashing, but I really like this set and will use it more when I get a more powerful computer. I used some clumps and rocks.
Ground used came from the Log Cabin [link]

I do agree with the suggestion that the PoV should have been closer. I also believe that a solo spot on her face would have been a wothwhile addition to the scene. I realise that the fixed house lights cast a shadow and that you want that shadow overall, but when you go to the time and effort of making a subtle facial expression, then it's GOT to be visible. It may only have needed 25% intensity and no shadow (in Poser terms) but it think it would have been an enhancement.

Best of luck recovering the data.

Thanks friend, explanation of the POV on reply to toadz. While the other ideas are great as well, this theme was what I was after. Understand about the face showing, but... no shadows? That would totally destroy the image quality/naturalism. You can't light up anything in the real world and have no shadows, so I refuse to do it in art.

Hmmmm nice, Wolfie! I'd like to see her a bit closer up, frankly not so interested in the rest of the composition as I am in her Love her face and that you're letting her go out on a date braless (or.... did she just come BACK without it?...) Just one comment about realism - nobody has perfectly clean shutters or siding on their house unless they just used a power washer on it..... ya gotta add some dirt and crap here and there..... I don't have the fine artist's eye but I used to do investigative work.... Overall a fine piece, Wolfie. Now..... we need to see the R rated shots and see if she's worth the heartache. Thanks for sharing, and I hope you enjoyed a fine Thanksgiving!

LOL... she chose to go braless to tease the hell out of her date... agree with the dirt texture and really don't agree with the upclose (explanation respond to toadz). Your R rated request is on it's way

And yes, this would definitely be a nice view after a hot date

Oopps, forgot to say as well. I cant beleive what auto fit did the the top! I love 3Dage products and sexy shirt is AWESOME! I used it in my last Poppy render and managed to get it too look like it was just hanging off her shoulders. It's a shame to see outofit messing up its look here! 3Dage for the win!

Nice work dude, but I think you should have pulled the shot in a little tighter for this one, she seems to be getting a little lost in the rest of the scene. Maybe turn DOF on and then using the focal length to pull the shot in and creating a bit of blur in the background might of helped and given her a dreamy feel, considering what it looks like she is gesturing for I think maybe a little more texture to the house walls and front door might have helped a little too, and really shown of the great lighting with a bit of displacement to catch some of the highglights. Thanks for sharing dude

Thanks, toadz I agree if I just wanted to focus on the character, and not the story (hot date in front of her home). The image I intended was a hot date in front of her home, rendering very up close would basically block out a lot of background in which fits the theme. Honestly people in 3D have seen & rendered way too many up-close images of characters whereas there's hardly any background and the focuses are only on the characters, and are starting to think that images with a little more background are automatically not legitimate. If you had a background, it tells focuses more on the story, not just a character. The blur was a bit ideal though, but still I was focused on the theme, not just the character.

Texture on the house, which there were none lol, I was too lazy for that, but I did apply a texture on the walkway/foundation. This house didn't come with hardly any textures (another low quality issue there). But you're right, I needed a little bit of "dirty" texture for the sidings.

I hear what you are saying about the close ups on characters, I know I am more than guilty of just taking the easy option and going for a zoomed in shot. Maybe next time you go for a shot in this style, try going for a landscape shot instead of a square one as square images don't sit well with the eye as we have a wider vision than we do tall, so square images can feel squashed together. That way you can focus in a little more on the character and still have alot of the background in. Plus you can have some fun with rules of third and the optical center of the image (which is not actualy just the center of the piece. The optical center is just slighty up and right of the dead center of the image. This is where subconciously your eye goes straight to when you look at an image. A trick often used in design is to have the most important element of a piece located here for the eye to hit straight away) kind of like I did here [link]

You have a good point in which I wasn't thinking about (landscape), thanks for bringing that up, friend, a true artist critique indeed! And yea, it's fun to play with the rule of third as well Thanks a lot buddy!

**clicks on your image** WOOHOO I like! Gonna comment there
