This took way longer than expected lol, But I like the final result of this.
This is my first character reference sheet, and who else to do a ref on than good old Mathilda Jade.
I always drew Mathilda a little different every time i draw her, so you could say that the main reason I made this was to give her a definitive and constant look. It might also help others to draw her better.

Anyway here's more about Mathilda!

Backstory
As a child Mathilda lived a good life outside the town of Bronzeroot with a lot of good people around her. One day her father became very sick with a untreatable virus. Later she meets a stranger who tells her about a flower with extraordinary healing ability, which only grows in The Wetchzu Mountains and are being guarded.
After a long trip Mathilda returns home with flower in hand, and finds her parents held hostage by the same man who told her about the flowers along with some Bandits.
He promises to spare her parents lives if he gets the flowers. He gets the flowers, but still decides to kill the father and kidnaps the mother because as he says “she has some value”. The Bandits drags Mathilda into the Barn, where she gets tied up and gets her tail cut off. Mathilda is saved by Arufa before the intruders can do anything to her. Now she’s on a quest to save her mother and defeat the bad guy.

Yo look I took some time off to draw the bad girl.
She isn't that bad. just not the nicest one.
