Balan is the maestro who guides Leo Craig and Emma Cole to Wonderworld ; Those who see him never tire of his unexpected and comical antics. He is a charismatic entertainer and the host of Balan Theater.

Balan is sometimes unpredictable, humorous, graceful, mysterious and never tires of his audience.
Appearance
Balan is a tall, lean humanoid figure that wears a white magician suit with a white top hat with a red mask around it. He has big yellow eyes and black skin with a wide grin on his face. Balan also has neon green locks
Abilities
There is not much information about Balan, but in the opening movie he can be seen to have magical capabilities which includes making copies of himself and creating a rainbow flood. He is also seen floating in the air and creating special effects for his performances. Despite his thin appearance, Balan is very quick on his feet and surprisingly strong as in the Balan Challenge where he is able to break a large rock-like object with a kick. He can also summon a bright yellow orb and throw it. In his battle with Lance in said challenge, Balan can summon a yellow barrier to protect himself. Which is seen in the demo version of the game.

If you combine Balan's name with Lance , you get the word, "Balance".
Balan's Japanese voice actor, Kenichi Suzumura is famous for voicing other anime and video game characters such as Zack Fair, Jack, and Demyx from Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts series, respectively.
