this was done like months ago before enrolment..... but its only tonight that i got the chance to upload this here.....this is my trade pic half for my trade with for like since last year.... you heard me!.... ONE YEAR AGO! XD
im this slow, i tell ya he has all rights to kill me for being this late XD LOL....
oh well at least ive finished this now...
he requested that i design his wyvern character concept into reality.... so here is my interpretarion of your description dude! ^_^

Ahh time to nit pick ^^ I LOVE dragons.
CUTE CUTE job with the wing/hand thing, how you've somehow given even a Wyvern a four-foot position when wyvern's technically have two... you really snuck that in there Hell, I'll have to power that idea >>

Your persepctive is good,
I can see you experimenting with varying line thickness, EXPERIMENT away.. it can make or break a piccy sometimes.
Colored pencils are hard because of that DAMNED grain >> It always becomes an eye soar as you burnish, but seeing as how you're using water solubale pencils.. it REALLY does make a different if you use watercolor paper. You see, it has pockets (kind of like a paper towel) and it gives a place for the water to go so it doesn't grain AS much when you burnish on top of it.. really excellent for laying out the color

hehehe yeah, i sorta had this idea of how wyverns rest on the ground... when their not hangin upside-down like bats ^_^ hell, at their size and wieght i doubt they'll find many perches that can support em ^_^ ...makes sense to me^_^ LOL
anyhuu i cant afford decent watercolor paperX_X im soooo poor X_X... but i must give it a try though... and yes i used a brush to ink the outlines^_^.... kinda easy to make various line value with brushes^_^ yeah!

Nice! I like how the colors flow into each other, especially by the feet.

Ha, looks great, I really like the colors and the wings are just right. Other then the colors, the thing I prolly like most is that it has somewhat of a cartoony look to it, which I think gives it more character then simply being a "badass" dragon
Now, if I manage to get the time, I will attempt to use this guy as a reference when I model/texture a wyvern in 3D. Wish me luck there
