Sorry for late answer. I use gimp and frames to put it together. It's easy you just need to combine pictures with text and effects.

So... an older girl is the interest of two boys. A fairy thing splits her into two younger versions of herself with a ponytail, and then has each of the boys merge with one of the mirrored copies, making 2 girls of age similair the the twintailed girl, but each has a ponytail, and color adjustments to match which boy is merged into which body.
