Older picture °_° I remember I ate a delicous watermelon on the day I painted it. I was fascinated by the saturated red of the pulp and the pitch-black of the cores. Therefore I was inspired to draw a watermelon and switch the colours.

it looks more liek a bowl then a melon. i think its because the end of it is so straight. most of the time the cutted watermelon looks more wavy and stuff you know.

I think it does look like a watermelon, it does look a little rigid, but it does resemble the fruit.

Wer sieht nicht gerne ein nacktes Mädchen mit Sommersprossen, dass ihren ersten Bissen in einer Melone versenkt.
Die Hände haben es mir angetan. Die Art wie sie so lustvoll die Melone hält - echt köstlich.
Mir gefällt auch diese widersprüchliche Kombination
Auf der einen Seite zeigst du das schüchterne Mädchen mit einer verspielten Frisur das ihre Melone essen will und auf der anderen Seite zeigst du sie mit einem entschlossenen Blick, ihre Brüste an sich drückend und in die "eklige" braune Melone beißend.
Ich bin hin und weg. Mach nur weiter so. *thumbs up*

I love all the little details in this, and you certainly managed to invert the meat of the melon. The way her braids are slightly blurry, as if viewing through a close-focus lense picture... the freckles on her arms and face in contrast with the paleness of her skin... and the tribalesque face-painting.

Isn't it lovely when you get that "out-of-nowhere" piece of inspiration, and all of the sudden it is as though life itself makes perfect sense (only momentarily of course).
Love the painting, although, I have to say, I would not want to be the one eating that watermelon. It looks... slightly, old.

Wirklich umwerfend! Die Farbspielerei bei der Wassermelone ist wirklich toll, der Effekt genial!
