Rider: Leopold von Grundwald

After meeting Sheer, Leo talked with Dr. Rose for a long time. He was making sure, all old injuries were completly healed and the Falkenberg Stables would not buy a pig in a poke.
As the flight back to Germany took of very early, the men met one last time in the stables at the darkest part of the night. It was a few hours before dawn, but still a lot of packing needed to be done.
Suddenly they got a call - Lady Nightmare and Grimm Darling were causing havoc on one of the farer pastures.
There were allready thunderclouds rolling and the ways were muddy from an earlier shower. No chance for a SUV. Dr. Rose and Leopold nodded at each other and got the horses ready.

They rode as fast as the weather allowed. Dr. Rose knew every turn in the trail and led them savely to the right pasture. They were met by a strange scenery.
Distant thunderclounds and lightnings had taken over the sky, but it was not yet. The lightnings cast seemingly random shadows on the ground and the odd reflections made for an almost magical light.
Grimm and Lady were rearing at each other - but Leo could not see, if they were hurting each other. Too dark was the night and too strong the backlight.

He knew he was just a few miles form Hampshire Stables in the welsh hills, but the mountain formations looked odd to him.

"Well", he said to Doctor Rose "let's get this sorted out as fast as possible. Need to be at the airport in a few hours - and I sure as hell do not want to get into that thunderstorm."

But I am ways too late, so it will not be get any points.
Damn, first time a drew a night scene, a rider on a horse and a thunderstorm.
