Last Wednesday, I recieved in the mail two model kits that were a set of 3 Enterprise Starships from Enterprise 1701 to Enterprise-E. And they're all to scale. I will be uploading 5 sides of the individual starships one by one. So Prepare!Related content

This makes me feel less nerdy for my B D and E models and my Defiant, Warbird, and Birds of Prey (Romulan and Klingon) but then I saw looked at my Gundam models and felt nerdy again

I got 'em a while back when they were available in bulk packs. I got 'em from Hobbylinc.com. Polar Lights bought the rights to AMT and put the enterprise B with the original Enterprise, and the Enterprise-A and sold them like that. the rest of the ships, C, D, and E they're selling separately

THOSE ARE WICKED COOL, DUDE. GREAT JOB. BUT I ALWAYS THOUGHT THE ENTERPRISE-E WAS ABOUT THE SAME SIZE AS D, BUT HERE, IT APEARS TO BE A LITTLE SMALLER.

heh, thanks. Enterprise-E is about half the hight of Enterprise-D but is a little longer than D. trust me, they're all the same scale

I RECKON IT'S JUST THE ANGLE I WAS SEEING THEM AT. I KNOW D IS A GOOD BIT TALLER THAN E BECAUSE OF THAT MASSIVE NECK SHE'S SO FAMOUS FOR.

what defiant the resin or the kit from revell?

I think it was Revell. but ti was a while ago I built that thing.

okay the revel kit is larger than my resin defiant the resin ships is only 11cm long (about 9 ")

Great collection. There's something really special about the design philosophy behind the "Star Trek" ships, and the variations they come up with for each new vessel are fascinating (no pun intended)

Maybe it's just the angle but the sovy looks half a big as the galaxy and not much bigger than the ambassador.... but may just be the angle.. the Constitutions look way small though.. less that scales wrong, aint got much else to go on ah well...

Its weird but when you compare them the galaxy is much wider than the sovereign even though its not as long

*chuckles* Trust me, I've compared both ships side by side, myself. and they are to scale. and I've even compared the Constitution to the Sovereign. AND I've seed size comparison charts. And The Constitution is almost the same length as the Sovereign's Warp Nacelle.

Nice, are all of those in the same scale? They look it, but then again I havn't seen a real solid scale comparison between all the Star Trek ships

sovereign is 40meters longer than galaxy. your sovereing -looks- kinda small.

XD well, when you put the Sovereign and Galaxy side by side, they are to scale. trust me, The enterprise-D is just larget by geight and width. not by length. trist me, buddy. these ships are all to scale

awsome. The Enterprise D really does dwarf all those other ships. You should get one to scale of the NX-01 for that collection, as i don't think the one you made was to scale... less my perception is off.
