This is awesome. As for the perfect curly-Q, I think that its a Kryptonian technology that magically happens when he takes his reporter uniform off.

I'm glad to hear they put the curly in there, keeping faithful to the original Superman movies. ( i have no idea if it's faithful to the comics or not, never read too many of 'em )

I'm used to calling it by it's japanese name, but Justice Gakuen is known as Rival Schools outside of Japan. It's that one 3D fighter series by Capcom. Your deviation kinda reminded me of Kyosuke from that series, even though they look totally different. (although they both wear glasses) I think it was the art style that it reminded me of most. '-'

Yeah this one really blows the first sketch out of the water. Nice choice with the ambient green, instantly makes me think of kryptonite, and paired with that pose, mabey a weaker more fragile superman.
