Overall, I think this is an exquisite piece. Beautifully done. It immediately captured my attention and compelled me to write some thoughts regarding it. Here are the elements that I observed:
+ First off, the technique is fantastic. The use of the flowing watercolor is beautiful. It gives the image a sense of movement and brings it alive.
+ Despite the flow for the watercolor, it does not look like the subject is drenched, which I think is really remarkable.
+ I think the choice to not blend things but to have discrete color boundaries was great. It adds to the striking quality of the picture that draws you to it.
+ Further the choice of ink lines was perfect. It takes a flowing image and adds some support and sharpness to it making it seem more tangible. Good contrast to the color flow.
- Still, I wonder if you were trying to have it be the image of a girl in water. However, when I first saw it it seemed very much to me a girl wearing a veil instead of it being water; actually it still looks like a veil to me. If the intent is veil then I do think the lines add tremendously to it. If the intent was water it takes away from its flow, so in that case perhaps not using the black lines would have been better.
+ There is a wetness to the image which I thought perhaps was an artistic element or an interpretation of emotion. Or perhaps an element of nature. But not water like in a swimming pool. The mystery adds to the appeal I think.
+ I do love the overall effect. In particular, I like that you didn't just stop at black lines but also have white lines demarcating other colors such as the shading around the eyes.
+ That brings me to the eyes. They have a very alive, wet look to them. The reflections and shadows intermingle beautifully and the flowing paint really adds to their realism. Of course their precise detail certainly provides the foundation for it all to come together.
+ The eyes, which look to me like female eyes, also have an intensity and intelligence about them which is nicely conveyed making is a compelling personality. So the simple picture speaks volumes about the person.
- I will mention though that the image scene is a fairly well-known layout. Focus on beautiful eyes hiding the rest of the face. Often used by photographers, film makers and artists. So if someone asked, "is the layout original?" I would say that it was not. However I would also add that it is stunning in its execution and that alone makes it quite unique.
+ This may seem like a trivial point to make but the choice of paper makes a difference and I think you chose very well. The texture definitely enhances the picture and gives it stability, like the lines do.
+ Overall I think your technique and creations are amazing and it is really a treat to see you create these beautiful works of art.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write such thoughtful and long response, I appreciate. To answer your questions, it was not an image of a girl in the water, blue part was a scarf. As for the originality, of course it's a subject often used, but that doesn't stop me from trying to capture it in my own ways.

You are quite welcome. And I am glad the blue part is a scarf because that is what I thought it was until I saw a few tiny blue droplets on the girls forehead which made me doubt my initial interpretation. It looks like a scarf/veil/cloth and very nicely done. Also yes I agree that an artists interpretation is what adds the uniqueness. You did a phenomenal job. Keep it up.

Another fantastic work of art, as if we expect anything less of you.
I want to start on the eyes, because that's where I'm first drawn to in the piece. The amount of detail you put into those eyes is terrific. I'm half expecting them to suddenly move and stare straight at me. They are so realistic. I also love that in the work, she isn't looking at me. Most menacing stares are directed at the viewer but not this one. She is looking right past me, but yet somehow I still know that she is watching me. The lashes, the highlights, the color everything is just perfect.
Now, moving along. The garment across her mouth was an amazing touch, as I saw pointed out in an earlier critique, it adds mystery. Is she hiding from me or someone else or is she just hiding herself from the world. It keeps you looking at the work because it keeps you wondering.
The dripping effect just finishes off the piece. I feel as if when I look away and then back she'll be gone. Like she might just melt right off the page so I have to take in as much as I can before she does.
Anyway, overall great work.

Oh, another version? Excellent! Version A was top quality but this one is exquisite! There was already a mysterious feeling to the first one, and now with this added blue-ish shroud it looks even better! The piercing look from the eyes already sent a chill; and now with the cold, ghostly colours used, it is chilling beyond measure! The greatest thing about this piece is that questions pops into my head: Who is this? A sad, lonely widow? A spectral assassin? A secretive spy? The questions keep coming, which shows that the mystery of this piece works along with the technique you have used here, which has been executed brilliantly, once again! ALWAYS looking forward to seeing your work, well done!

I absolutely love this. The piece is titled "forgotten" and believe that the subject is the one who has been forgot. To me I feel the eyes hold something very known. I feel the detail is astonishing, she appears to me to be giving a sort of sideways glance, the eyebrows seem to indicate a sort of power with that knowledge. Tears appear to be spilling, but I feel the feeling is more profound. Painful, but not riving in despair, instead immensely hurt with a sort of, "How dare you?" or "Oh really?" Attitude. To me, these eyes seem to remember. And the tears seem to cover the mouth like a wrap. Perhaps this indicates that the forgotten one will not partake in something, but rather suffer in silence and take the higher road. I love how you made some of the eyelashes appear white, like aged wisdom and strain, or like lightening in a final stand off. The way you get so much emotion in your paintings is truly amazing. I do hope this critique is, if not close, appropriate to what you were trying to convey. Keep up the excellent work!

Absolutley beautiful.
This version is more visiually pleasing to me than the first. Although I love the negative space in the first version, I think the blue wash you put over it gives the figure form and shows the viewer that they're not just a floating pair of eyes but an actual face with how your brush strokes curve over.
That said both work stand well on their own.
Great job!
