Fun Fact #1 - Could not get Kala to look confused for the life of me... hope it comes across.
Fun Fact #2 - I am absolutely in love with how the background turned out. A simple background that doesn't look completely half arsed!

I just joined today and found this. Have to say I absolutely love this idea. I can't believe I never thought about it before. I have a few questions coming to mind. Is this version of Kala alone or do you think the other gorillas have elephant forms too? And are you open to doing more with this idea, because I would love to see more of it. And are you closed for requests or are you still open? If it is the former case I hope you can consider doing one for me at some point since I like this deviation and your comic work with Tantor's Gift. In either case I'll send the idea in a note now. I understand that your time is short and you wish to work on your own art so if it makes any difference I'll gladly wait as long as necessary since my idea is rather long.

I completely agree with , you did an outstanding job. I feel kinda overwhelmed with an idea for a few scenes with this variation of Kala and baby Tarzan. Question is do you think she discovered Tarzan in the jungle or at the treehouse? And if the latter could the floors support and elephant's weight?

Thank you! I think she probably discovered him in the jungle. I think the treehouse floor would support her, but I'm pretty sure the bridge across to it wouldn't. If it didn't break it would probably tip over!

Seems right. Now how to do the discovery in the jungle? Perhaps the parents were out with the baby for the day and got killed. Alice would hide the boy and he'd be found by Kala?

I think they'd probably be out gathering food when they're attacked by Sabor (if you still want her to be the killer). Maybe in a brief moment when Sabor is distracted by John, Alice quickly hides Tarzan in a small bush. Then Alice and John run away in order to draw Sabor away from Tarzan (and sadly never come back). Not long after, Kala is walking through that part of the jungle and hears an odd rustling noise. She may be afraid at first, but curiosity wins out and she discovers the hidden baby.

Speaking of John and Alice you should definitely do another deviation of them and their infant son when you are able. I'd really like to see more of them, especially Alice.

Ooo, I'd love to someday! I have some ideas that have been floating around in my head for years, but have never gotten around to them. It may be a while before I get around to them though, because I want to get more practice drawing humans... I really want to do them justice.

I understand that. If you ask me though you're pretty good with the human form already. You captured Jane really well in my request and in several other deviations. Same with Tarzan in a lot of your other drawings.
