This is an awesome photo. Are these actually that colour in real life? If so, that is one of the first brightly coloured ibis I've ever seen

They were/are pretty red indeed, but this one's colours has also been enhanced by the sun which momentarily popped out with a great shine
So yes, the colour aren't a manipulation
