Description Apophysis (z) Linear/spherical
The web of life, with all its twists and turns. Its high's and lows. Stretching itself back in time but open to the future. The colours of roses and skies and opalescent shades of mood. Here, a memory of us one Autumn night, when the Yarra was still and the city perfectly reflected onto the surface. There, the thought of Joe Crow, who i never got to talk to. Myriad, mellowed ideas and memories. We weave our own magic there within the strands that keep us grounded and the whisps that allow us to soar.

this is beautiful, especially the way the colors are layered. i'm staring at it and it almost looks like it's moving - very fluid. amazing work!

This one is like that for me also. When I took it to full screen i could see so much in there. If you would like the parameters of this one to play around with just note me your email address and i'll send them on to you.
Glad you liked it

Brilliant!! I love the levels of depth, I think this is my favourite piece of yours

Thank you so very Much Minty. I know it was easy to lose it completely. One tiny adjustment and it was a blank screen. But the more I looked in to it, the more I saw. I adore this program.
It gives me endless pleasure not only in my own flames but in other artists.
Thank you again. Your comments are always encouraging.

well that is amazing in itself. Are you trying out the new z version. I'm finding the spiral scripts odd as they genarate 100 triangles. I would like to have more control over the number of triangles.

Apophysis z what's that!!!?

Apo z is another beta. Fractal forge has it I think, if not, get back to me and i'll locate it elsewhere

Ive' found one of the beta versions I'll download it this weekend and have a play

You'll enjoy that. I don't like the spiral feature much as it generates far too many triangles, but then again I like having more control. If it could be adjusted that would be great. There's a new variation in there called eyefish and all it seems to do is leave a black hole. Obviously needs more investigating.

ooo I do like playing with triangles but that many seems a little unwieldy. I'll check that new variation too, can you use previous apophysis perameter files with it?

yes you can use previous parameter files. Good eh?

I strive to manage fractals like this.

Stunning and so evocative. Many contrasts... flow and stasis, complete but evolving... woah!

Brain overload.

It was like that for me too lol. All the contrasts, highs and lows. My mind flooded itself with memories as soon as I started thinking about the depth within it. Thanks diregram. I always appreciate your comments greatly

I love this! It's the kind of fractal that I wish I could get...simply amazing, with all those chambers inside of chambers....

Thanks Jean. This was made using the linear function only to start off. If you would like the parameters i am happy to send them to you. Perhaps you'll find some more magic in there.

That would be nice, if it's not too much trouble. I've uploaded parameters before, but only a few times. I think I'll be able to do it *she says somewhat dubiously*. Or I'll sure try. THanks very much for the offer!!
